New RC available : Wordpress 2.5 RC2

Currently available for download: WordPress 2.5 Release Candidate 2.

Some features are :

A customizable dashboard, multi-file upload, built-in galleries, one-click plugin upgrades, tag management, built-in Gravatars, full text feeds, and faster load times.

Update :

I upgraded 2 of my Wordpress sites (Fots.nl, weblog.sleurink.nl) to Wordpress 2.5 RC2. All seems to work well…and the plugins IMDB Tag and Geo Tag are working.

Lenovo Thinkpad T61p

Finally, my Lenovo T60 is replaced with a Lenovo T61p. The problem I had with the T60, was that it had a maximum resoluton of 1024×768…terrible if you need to work with network overviews.

Thank god that changed to 1600×1200…

XML Notepad 2007

XML Notepad 2006 was first released on the 1st September 2006. This tool provides a simple user interface for browsing and editing XML documents.

Some nice features:

  • Tree View synchronized with Node Text View for quick editing of node names and values.
  • Incremental search (Ctrl+I) in both tree and text views, so as you type it navigates to matching nodes.
  • Cut/copy/paste with full namespace support.
  • Drag/drop support for easy manipulation of the tree, even across different instances of XML Notepad and from the file system.
  • Infinite undo/redo for all edit operations.
  • In place popup multi-line editing of large text node values.
  • and many more…
