When installing Exchange 12 CTP release the following error may occur:
Exchange Server ‘12′ requires Microsoft Management Console 3.0.
This is even though you installed the MMC 3.0 version.
Follow the solution provided to you by the Microsoft Exchange Team (link)
Create the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\MMC30Core
Is Exchange 12 part of the MSDN set, Hans?
Well Exchange 12 Beta 1 is being distributed via CD shipping to TechNet subscribers; MSDN subscribers are able to download the CTP.
Although I have downloaded the product, I still need to install it. But what I’ve read about it, I’m very curious about E12 and all the changes the Microsoft team have made.
