With Unified Messaging (UM) language packs installed you enable callers and OVA (Outlook Voice Access) users to interact with the Unified Messaging system in multiple languages. Each UM language pack includes :

  • TTS engine (Tex-to-Speech)
  • ASR (Automatich Speech Recognition)
  • Voice Mail Preview

Exchange 2010 Rollup 1

Yesterday Microsoft released the first Exchange 2010 rollup, number 1. You can download the update here.

A nice addition is that Blackberry Enterpris Server (BES) is now fully supported with Exchange 2010 Rollup 1.

The Microsoft Exchange Team announced the release for Service Pack 2. It’s expected in Q3 of 2009.

This Service Pack will be required for transitioning to Exchange 2010.

You’ll be able to upgrade directly to SP2 for all Exchange 2007 versions (RTM, SP1).
