Requirements

  • Wordpress: compatible up to 2.3.3 and may be later

Installation

  1. Unpack the file “Geo_Tag.zip” and upload the folder “Geo_Tag” to “wp-content/plugins/.” Activate from WP’s Plugin Management page.
  2. Get a Google Maps API key – http://code.google.com/apis/maps/signup.html
  3. Enter Google Maps API Key in GEOTag options
  4. Enable Geo Tag javascript
  5. Select Language in GEOTag options
    Or add your own language file to wp-content/plugins/Geo_Tag/lang
    Please send the new language files to: webmaster@fots.nl 

Usage: Add <a rel=”gmapsoverlay” href=”http://maps.google.com/maps…” mce_href=”http://maps.google.com/maps…”> text </a> to your hyperlink.

    I seem to be having problems with the geotag plugin with wordpress 2.5. Can you help me out?

    This is the error that I’m getting.
